Eventhough they were cheaper before the Corona Epedemic, this is still a good strong Powerfull unit to have several VM or Containers for either a Small and up to Medium companies. This products provides as a strong an independant StandAlone Server or a Domain Server. For my Own Experiences I’ve runned
* VMware (Requires a RAID controller – since the onboard RAID controller is not supported)
* Proxmox VE 6 – 7 – 8 (So Debian 9 – 10 – 11)
* XEN Several different setups through time
* Kubernetes/Docker on Ubuntu 20.04LTS + 22.04LTS
Running VMware is per optimization for the individual Vurtual Machines, Where proxmox have the greats options of both VMs and Containers, and ike so in XEN and Kubernetes. Where its also possible to run both Router and Servers on the Same Physical Power. Saving Costs and Space for all included parts.
